Niveau Zero to play Dark Room on Aug. 14th!
Tuesday, July 20, 2010

Artist website www.myspace.com/niveau0
We’re very excited to have the French Dubstep Badman Niveau Zero joining us at the next installment of Dark Room on Aug. 14th. As always, the party will be FREE. Do not sleep on this one. The man tore the house down last time we saw him play in Paris.
Having taken his first steps in music as the bass player for various hardcore outfits (a background he shares with several of his Ad Noiseam label mates), Frédéric Garcia has now become one of the frontrunners of France’s heavy electronic scene. With tastes and influences ranging from dubstep to breakcore or from hip-hop to metal, he’s a relentless actor of this country’s underground scene.
Following his winning of the “best electronic newcomer” award at the Printemps De Bourges festival in 2008, Niveau Zero had his first releases on the Paris-based label Destpub (also the first label to discover the now widely acclaimed 16 Bit)., He has ever since had records put out by such imprints as Expressillon and Komod.o (for a collaboration with Ad Noiseam’s Matta).
Besides having his own FM radio show, Niveau Zero is also the founder of Paris’s best known dubstep parties, “F*** You I’m Furious”, and is known for being one of the most sought-out French dubstep live acts.

Methods Presents UK Badman RESO in NYC Friday, AUG. 6th
Wednesday, June 30, 2010
RESO is a rising star, gaining worldwide notoriety for his technoid inspired productions which often transcend the dubstep tag that many have easily slotted him into. Reso’s aural identity is a densely layered, high octane tapestry, rich with musical texture and colour, which sets him apart from the minimal sparseness of many of his fellow producers. With a busy DJ schedule, Reso has been smashing dancefloors from Newcastle to Nottingham and London, whilst regularly hitting Europe.
Mary Anne Hobbs has been a fervent supporter of the young producer, commissioning a special 20-minute mix for her Radio One Breezeblock show back in January 2007. Reso has worked with Burial, engineering his critically acclaimed remix of Jamie Woon’s Wayfaring Stranger. More recently Reso’s remix of The Dubstitutes 2 Faced Rasta (Dubting) has been gathering strong support from some of Dubstep’s key players such as Benga, N-Type, Walsh and Rusko. With releases due on Hospital Records, Storming Productions, Destructive, Urban Graffiti and Skud, Reso is definitely one to catch! http://www.myspace.com/corgrimey

Locked Down presents: Dubfunk V2.0 in Milwaukee June 18th
Monday, June 7, 2010
Some words from Locked Down Productions
Purpose:
To continue bringing in a brand new subculture to the Milwaukee area. Dubstep is the new phenomenon spreading across the U.S. like wild fire, destroying clubs from New York, to Philly, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, San Francisco, to Los Angeles and beyond. Locked Down has been a major influence in Milwaukee, spreading the sound across that state.
Past:
Locked Down Productions has been working to bring Milwaukee some
great Dubstep artists from all across the world. Just to name a few,
6Blocc, HULK, Mark Instinct on his second US appearance ever,
Jaybird, Zeno, Claw, Richie August, Ruckus, DJ Apostle (Paul Tahlier), Prolific, Brandon S, Deflator, Tinhead, Max Ohm, D.Jaizen, DJ Belly, plus more.
PLUS to add to Bad Genies existing sound system, Locked Down Productions will be at it again with FULL sound setup and lighting. What would a proper Dubstep event (or any event for that matter) be with out a great sound system, proper equipment, and lighting to make it all come full circle.

Methods Gear featured in new video from Fat Joe, N.O.R.E, and Armageddon
Monday, June 7, 2010
There’s about 10 Methods shirts in the new video from our boy Armageddon. He’s got Fat Joe and N.O.R.E. featured in the video as well. The whole thing was shot in Greenpoint a few weeks ago. The tune is dope too, on some real NYC HIP HOP ish. Good to hear some real rap again. Shouts to the homie Exile Ramirez who did a grat job directing the video.
BORGORE stops by the Methods Store before his US tour starting today!
Thursday, June 3, 2010
If you don’t know who Borgore is, you’re just out of the loop. Our man has been killing the game lately. MIA said he’s one of her favorite new artists, he’s signed to Mad Decent, he’s playing Hard Fest NYC in July, and he is about to hit a city near you! His tunes are changing the game and his shows are about as much fun as you can have without getting locked up.
Borgore had a layover yesterday for a few hours in NYC and rushed over to the Methods store to grab the newest tee’s from his favorite brand before taking off to start his 14 city North American tour. Respect to the BRG!
